Claire van Holthe.

My jewellery journey began as early as I can remember, stringing shells onto rope.

After graduating with a BA in Jewellery, Silversmithing and Allied Crafts, I went on to complete a Diamond Grading and Gemmology Diploma from the Gemmological Association of America.

What drew me to the craft was the freedom to make a mess, to arrange and rearrange, to quietly collect and to make little piles and assortments. To curate this chaos is, for me, one of life’s singular privileges.

Letting things sit and be seen; viewed till they transform and become what they were always meant to be. Finally coming to life once they find their person. treasured-the feeling most assuredly mutual. For are we not at our simplest, at the core of it, water and mineral breathed into life? a complicated cocktail of minerals with a desire to experience themselves at faster and higher vibrations.
